It only ever seems to crash in games with raytracing, yet I have zero issues say, playing these Whenever I try to enable XMP profiles on my B450-A pro MB to get the GSkill Ram to hit 3200 mhz, it causes serious issues with my system. I tried XMP a few days ago and my pc would not start up just black screen no signal. Since then I bought new ram (32GB Corsair Vengance 3200Mhz), checked the card for the known junktion temp … **Notes on DDR5 compatibility and enabling XMP. It was odd I would hit, depending on usage low to mid 180C temps. Sometimes when I have XMP turned off after I turn it on it crashes sometimes even over a longer period of time gaming.

I started using 3D mark to test instead: First test: Run 1: Pass. It shows my fps dropping down to even 1 fps, then crashes.

As title mentioned, with XMP Enabled I am able to achieve 3600Mhz for memory. May need to use XMP then loosen timings slighlty.anyway The XMP profile is set at 3600 gear 1, pc constantly freezes up, no black screen, just freezes as it is from the moment of the crash, have to do a hard reboot.

I ran a Windows update, updated my drivers and it seems fine now. The system restarts (without BSOD) when playing CSGO after some time. PSU: Corsair RM850x (850 watt) My memory is rated so in order to get that speed from the default 2133 I enabled the XMP profile in my mobo UEFI. Go to solution Solved by aDoomGuy, January 12. I would recommend taking the time to verify that turning off XMP does not cause the crash. All other games are no issues with overclocking the memory. Skill) XMP or Extreme Memory Profiles, is an Intel technology that allows you to change multiple memory settings by simply selecting a different profile, taking Some crashes with restart pc, some just crashes out to windows, others just freeze video output, but i hear that i can do stuff. I updated the bios and enabled XMP (wouldn't even boot with XMP enabled prior). RAM stuck at 2666 MHZ since not overclocked and I bought the PC like 2 ½ years ago.
